What is this series about?
Every Sunday at 10 am USCT, I broadcast one person on LinkedIn (famous or not) who has challenged me to become a more open-minded thinker.
Why Should I Care?
Before I graduated from Rhodes College (2013), a wise artist once said during a cartonera presentation that it’s important to discern the artist from the person. Otherwise, it can be very difficult to appreciate the artist’s journey.
During my journey as a creative, as hard as it may seem to believe, I've learned you don't need a "clean slate" in order to accomplish your goals (i.e. getting a job or becoming famous). All that you need is a (reasonably) positive outlook on life, which consists of having an open mind, an open heart, and utilizing logic to the best of one's ability (among other things).
My hope is that by the completion of this project, at least one person would be better able to understand this concept. As my high school Japanese teacher, Stephen Campbell, once said, "Mistakes are great because they help us learn."
